Character Costume Design: For the character’s attire, I combined elements from Western cowboys, medieval Gothic fashion, and deep-sea creatures. The overall style leans toward a darker tone, complemented by cool colors to enhance the thematic immersion. Some crucial details, such as Hector’s hat, were designed based on the jagged tail and black-and-white patterns of a humpback whale. The gills on his face give him the traits of a whale, hinting at his past as a human. Additionally, I incorporated various oceanic elements: the significant conch on his chest, the pearls adorning his hat, and more. Maris’s long, glowing, curly hair flows like jellyfish tentacles. The translucent silk draped around her symbolizes
a rare and unique species of jellyfish, while her pale, almost ethereal skin suggests that she was once not human. Despite her distant and mysterious aura, she still exudes a human-like warmth.
